Position: Financial Controller – AMB Mining and AMB Exploration
Tasks: Cost Accounting. The implementation of reporting structures of budgeting and costing systems at mine site. Implementing Standard Operating Procedures for the financial section. Responsible for all cash on hand as well as the monthly payroll. Overseeing the administrative and financial sections of the financial department at mine site. Setting up of Pastel Accounting system; general ledger and asset register.
Structure: Reports to the Chief Financial Officer of AMB Investments. As the mine is still in a project and exploration phase, a very small financial section reporting to me as various functions being preformed by myself. As part of the Snr Management team at mine part of my functions to assist the Mine Manager with all matters on mine as and when required. Negotiating with local Workers Committee on all related matters.

Tasks: Cost and financial accounting for Helena Mine. Responsible for the Eastern Mines stores, inventory and procurement functions. Overseeing the administrative and financial sections of the financial department of Eastern Chrome Mines
Structure: Reports to the Financial Manager of Eastern Chrome Mines. The two Eastern Mine stores, approximately 40 employees, reports to me. Administration Department of the chrome section is my responsibility, currently 14 employees.
Position: Management Accountant – Platinum (September 2005 – August 2006)
Tasks: Setting up of financial, accounting, reporting and administration structures for Mototolo Mine which was approved by end July 2005. Responsible for the Eastern Mines stores, inventory and procurement functions. Overseeing the administrative and financial sections of the project execution management plan.
Structure: Reports directly to the Mine Manager of Mototolo Mine. Eastern Mine stores, approximately 25 employees, reports to me. Administration Department of the platinum section is my responsibility, currently 4 employees.
Position: Management Accountant – Projects (from July 2003 to August 2005)
Tasks: Member of project team for a green fields project. The compilation of all reports, estimations and budgets for new projects, for Board Approval. This includes assisting with the compilation of the OME; PCE and CBE.
Structure: No employees reports to me. Reports directly to Project Manager and Mine Manager.

Tasks: Financial month end, financial year-end, budgets, forecast, costing and general ledger reconciliation's.
Member of senior management therefore assists Mine Manager in all related matters. Reports to Administration Manager.
